This Hampton Inn & Suites in Nashville/Franklin offers a convenient location and generally positive guest experiences, particularly regarding the breakfast and staff friendliness. However, recent reviews highlight recurring concerns about noise during renovations, inconsistent service at the front desk, and issues with room cleanliness and amenities, such as the lack of cooking supplies in the kitchen.
My room was on the first floor right next to whatever room the workers are using for rennovations. It was ridiculously loud starting at 7am. Guys talking at full-volume right outside my door. Room 102. Also, when I checked in and went to go find my room, my door was already wide-open, which was very unsettling. The breakfast seating area was tiny and there was nowhere to sit. I had to bring my food back to my room. And then there was that dust all over the bathroom floor, letting me know it had not been cleaned before I checked in. I will avoid this particular hotel in the future. I normally don't like airing all of this out in a Google Review, but the front desk attendant did not ask me how my stay was, so...
My family and I were heading to Florida for two weeks and decided to stop in Franklin for the night so we could rest. I saw the mixed reviews but we were too tired to be picky. These are my thoughts about this location. Hotel is undergoing renovations but I was made aware of it and the noise. I was informed that they work from 8 am to 8 pm each day. It’s not ideal but construction never is. It isn’t enough to throw a fit about. The breakfast was great! Really nice options for everyone to pick from. My kids loved the waffles the most. I got to enjoy the biscuits and gravy and excellent coffee. My bed was very comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. Parking lot is fully lit and free. My only complaint is the staff member at the front desk. I did read a review about her but I didn’t think anything of it. I will say that whoever wrote that review wasn’t lying. This is a woman who hates her job and it shows in the way she treats people. I don’t even think she likes people. She didn’t make my family feel welcome. I almost felt like I was interrupting her day of hanging out and playing on her cellphone. It was extremely uncomfortable. While I loved the hotel and the rest of the staff, I don’t think I will be returning. Receiving a welcome in that manner always leaves an impression and my impression was very bad.
This hotel has been truly amazing! Clean comfortable rooms and all the staff has been super friendly. The continental breakfast is convenient and has a variety of options. I want to shout out Kelly at the front desk. Her friendly upbeat attitude has been greatly appreciated and she has been very helpful. Thank you Kelly!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Came to town this weekend and booked a night several months ago through Expedia. Had confirmation and emails telling me to enjoy my stay. Arrive at the hotel on the day of check-in for the girl at the front desk to tell me they cancelled anyone who booked through Expedia that they gave our rooms away to people who booked through their website. The girl at the desk was extremely nonchalant and told me to leave. They did not offer a refund (I paid in full online) and did not offer to find us another hotel to stay. She said that Expedia should have told me it was cancelled. Spent an hour on the phone with Expedia, and they had NO RECORD of the hotel telling me that my booking was cancelled, so they lied to me as well. Luckily was able to drive to another hotel and get a room there. This place needs to be reported.
Older Hampton. Somewhat on highway side. They’re doing construction in the rooms next to mine and it’s very loud in the morning. Most reputable hotel operators would block off rooms adjacent to construction areas. Internet speeds here are garbage.
The recently renovated accommodations are commendable. The staff consistently provides exceptional service, and the breakfast offerings are excellent. This establishment will be my preferred choice for all future visits to Franklin.
I’m a longtime guest of this location and I’ve always been pleased with my stays. However the past few times I’ve stayed there the service has just been awful and I can no longer hold my tongue. It is always the same woman who is just so unpleasant to deal with. Laila I think her name is. She works at the reception area. She is very rude, talks poorly about the people around her (including the owner of the hotel) and acts like she can’t be bothered to help guests. I was there this past week and needed a few things such as towels, housekeeping, etc. When I asked for her help she just rolled her eyes at me at handed me the items I requested while huffing and puffing because she had to get out of her chair and leave her friend (who was sitting on the floor behind the desk) so she could help me. After the items were handed to me I went to get coffee which is located at the front desk. I could hear her and her friend, who I later learned is the breakfast associate, talk about me and other guests in the lobby. They were also talking badly and laughing about construction people in the hotel who couldn’t speak English. It was embarrassing and so unprofessional. The management/owner should be ashamed that they allow someone like this to welcome their guests for their stay. I also don’t understand why she sits in a chair that is so low you can’t see her when you first walk in. This isn’t a motel. It’s a nice hotel that used to have high standards. The rest of the staff is really great and accommodating but I’m afraid I can’t continue to stay there any longer while this very rude receptionist still works at the front desk and is allowed to treat people terribly. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and good comp breakfast. Recommended as a good place to stay in that area. I will be going back.
Under construction. On one week stay TV indicated I was a different person each night. The next week, tv didn't work at all. They came looked and shrugged their shoulders. Convenient location, but thats about all I can say good about it. Maybe I should stop making Paris richer.
We stopped in to rest after a roadtrip with a family of 6. The Front Desk manager Kelly went above and beyond to ensure that felt comfortable in our rooms and had everything we needed. Breakfast was hot and delicious. We even took coffee to go to finish our roadtrip. Thank you so much, Kelly and Hampton Inn, for your excellent service.
