The Hilton Franklin Cool Springs receives mixed reviews, with many praising its location, friendly staff, and clean, well-maintained facilities. However, recurring concerns include inconsistent room temperature control, issues with housekeeping, and occasional rudeness from front desk staff. While suitable for business travelers and corporate events, some guests have reported difficulties with the hotel's responsiveness to issues and a lack of transparency regarding amenities.

I stayed here NYE 2025 for a couple nights. It is a beautiful hotel with lots of space for conferences. They have a delicious restaurant on the ground floor in the lobby! I encountered some wonderful people here too! Overall, I would say this property is situated well for conferences and for stays for business, but not so much family vacations. This is my second stay here and I would prefer not staying here again. The over all experience had nice touches but was quite frustrating. The one room I stayed in, I could not get the a/c to lower below 67 degrees for two days. This was miserable! After an engineer changed the a/c filter, the issue persisted even with it being 44 degrees outside. When I asked for another room, they sent a cart and said to move to another room on the 4th floor. The executive floor lounge that would typically host breakfast and evening appetizers was closed –this was not previously mentioned until check-in. It is also closed Friday-Sunday and major holidays. They did give ‘food and beverage’ credits for the days the lounge was closed, but they were not fully itemized on the bill when I checked out. The last day breakfast cost was visibly different than the prior days breakfasts, but the food was the same. They probably do this so they can change it if it is not an absolute cost amount –this is an underhanded way of doing business! I was impressed with the room views of the 8th floor, the people I met that worked here and others staying here. But this was not a relaxing and enjoyable trip!

Our company held its annual banquet at the Hilton here this morning, and this was my first time visiting the hotel near Nashville. I was impressed all around. From the food to the conference center and everything in between, the experience was excellent. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive throughout the event. The facilities were clean, well maintained, and clearly well managed. It worked perfectly for a professional company event, but you can also tell this would be a great option for a family getaway as well. Everything felt organized, comfortable, and easy. You really cannot go wrong with the Hilton, whether it is for a business function or a personal stay. Five stars all around.

Excellent location in a good spot between Nashville and Downtown Franklin. Rooms are standard and generally updated. Anna at the front desk took excellent care of our group make plans in Franklin and dinner reservations. Even booked a car service for us to get around for the evening. Our server already knew our names and said they were expecting us per Anna’s advance call. A superb touch reminiscent of the Ritz. Housekeeping could use a little improvement as our rooms were haphazardly tided each day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy Franklin outside the hustle of downtown Nashville

Nice hotel in a corporate area. Quiet and has a low key, cool vibe. Friendly and helpful staff. Appears to be mainly business travelers. Rooms are well appointed and the shower was great. It is a little nestled away in a pretty area, so it takes a few turns to get to it from the interstate.

This was a good experience overall however and here is the good and bad- Good is that it’s a very clean and nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay. That being said there shouldn’t be much bad right? The bad was pretty bad: -We got in late and checked in. The front desk lady was very rude because we “hadn’t been answering her calls”. Uhh our flight got delayed and we were on an airplane. That was not a very welcome entrance to our trip. - The shower pressure is awful. I like a good shower so this was a little bit of a bummer for such a nice hotel - the WORST is that we entered our room(536) and noticed a very strange and gross smell. We got in to late we were tired and just went to bed. I smelled that smell all night and it was a smell I hadn’t ever smelled before. The next day when wr got back to our hotel I laid in bed and the smell was still there. I started sniffing around and found out it was the mattress that smelled like one of the worst things I’ve ever smelled. My wife and I were pretty disgusted and we are fairly concerned for what may have happened in that bed… I went down and the guy was receptive and moved us 2 doors down and gave us a free breakfast coupon(seems like we should’ve gotten a little more than that? Maybe a free drink?) Anyways overall a good experience but when you stay in such a nice and somewhat expensive hotel you really hope to not deal with stuff like that.

We had an extremely unfortunate check in experience this past weekend, when we arrived in town for a special family event taking place in Franklin. We booked through Booking.com and when we arrived at the property at 5pm on 10/17, we were told that our reservation had been cancelled (it was still showing as very much active in my Booking app and I had a confirmation email from less than 24 hours prior, which I showed them) and that they were sold out and had no other room to offer us. Check in time was 4 pm and less than an hour later, they claimed all rooms were accounted for and they had nothing for us. After a good deal of back and forth, my husband and I were forced to leave and find alternate accommodations. This took us two hours, since the majority of hotels were booked in the area due to the football games, concerts and other events happening. So, we sat in our car and made phone calls, looked online but the pickings were slim. Finally, we got the last room at The Conrad, in Nashville, 30 minutes away. McKayla at the front desk tried to help us find alternate accommodations but kept coming up with Hampton Inns and 2-3 star options. We booked a 4 star hotel for a reason. She called the Conrad and got me a rate of $675/nt which at triple the cost of Cool Springs, was no bargain. In the end, I booked The Conrad myself through Amex Travel and got a rate of $444. We wound up having a lovely time at The Conrad, where the staff couldn't have been more apologetic as to what happened to us at Cool Springs. I put in several calls to a manager at Cool Springs but it's now 5 days later and still no phone call back. Terrible customer service, terrible communication and a terrible excuse for overbooking their hotel and booting us to the curb. Will never recommend this property.

This hotel is gorgeous - crisp and clean with smiling faces on arrival. I attended a conference here and it was a beautiful place. The man at the older gentleman has my heart - he was so inviting and told us to "be safe" every time we left. Only 20 minutes from the bustle of Nashville, and with plenty of shopping and dining options in the neighborhood, you can't go wrong staying here!

The views at sunset ? The breakfast is some of the best considering it is buffet. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Looking for fine dining check out Perry’s. Eastern Peak is walking distance and offers great food will a chill romantic vibe. I love this Hilton!

I stayed at this hotel in late April and, let me tell you, it was a PHENOMINAL experience!! I come to the Nashville area quite often but had never stayed at this hotel. I was in town on faculty for a writer's conference and this was the conference hotel. I was wary since I didn't get to choose where I stayed but this hotel was top notch in every way! The front desk staff...EXCELLENT! The rooms...WONDERFUL! The food in the restaurant...DELICIOUS!! I even needed a roll away bed for my son, who came with me, and it was so plush and comfortable, I was absolutely shocked at the quality. My only room for improvement would be for less volume on live music nights, it was a bit too loud for me. Also, I paid for breakfast but couldn't eat more than toast and water because they had gotten behind on the buffet and I had to leave to be on time for my class. I will not remove a star for this because I was running late and only had 5 minutes to eat so I couldn't wait for them to restock. I am sure they would have rectified this had they had the chance but I just paid and left. That was on me. Anyway, love it here. I may even teach that conference again just so I can come back!

I stayed there for 2 nights in early June. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, clean, and inviting. The staff, as well as nearly EVERYONE, in the Franklin area, were very nice and pleasant. The lobby was well done, impressively clean, and includes a bar and restaurant, work space with computers, and ample seating to chat with friends. The room was as expected, all the things one would expect from a Hilton. Comfortable bed, excellent view of the hills of west Tennessee, and a well laid out bathroom. Rainfall shower head, ample size shower, and glass doors made it better than home. The breakfast at the restaurant, Harth, was good. Eggs, bacon, and potatoes were cooked as they should have been. Didn't have a chance to eat dinner, but hopefully next time. My criticisms/things to improve would be better water pressure in the shower, a better/colder refrigerator, and a smart TV to allow Netflix or other streaming services. Overall a great place to stay. The location is perfect and the staff are friendly. The price was worth it, especially being rather close to Nashville.
