The Courtyard by Marriott Franklin Cool Springs receives generally positive reviews, particularly praising its location, staff friendliness, and clean facilities. However, recent feedback highlights issues with inconsistent room service, billing errors, and noise levels, impacting the overall guest experience.
I've extensive travel experiences throughout the years due to the nature of my job duties. In and out of hotels, inside and outside the USA. This unassuming resting place is made up by a team of working people second to none. From the cleaning crew to the technical staff and everyone else in between. One employee, in particular is Ms. Sheriee. She attends the front desk. She was extremely professional kind and helpful.I normally do not offer to write reviews, but writing this review was a necessity and a THANK YOU NOTE.
Came this weekend for a tournament. With games being early. First night we had loud talking running and nothing was done after complaining to the front desk. Second night teenagers running around knocking on doors. Multiple times. Complained again and all I was told was to call the police . Seriously. 11:30 pm and still asking to call police. No control over a recommended "Marriot" by a Nashville Futsal Tournament!! Very disappointed and angry I can't get my rest. Worst experience. I'm a soccer traveling family and I have never experienced nothing like this. Honestly can't even rate the rest. FYI if your traveling and want to take it serious don't choose this place. They don't care.
I love this hotel and location. I had a glitch with my reservation on the app, but Joleen helped me get it straightened up. She is the best and always takes great care of me and my family every time we stay!
Marriott Hotels - I stayed at the Courtyad in Cool Spring TN for three days and need the receipt to submit expenses for my job. I try to call the help desk number, am told I need the itinerary number for the reservation which I do not have as I rely on the Bonvoy app. The Bonvoy app does not post recent stays for up to two weeks after check out. After calling two help desk numbers and asking for human, I am hung up on twice. I have spent 380 lifetime days at Marriott’s, and am lifetime gold elite. If I can not get a receipt from you, I hope no one ever gets a real issue they need to address with you. Unacceptable and complete non customer service.
I booked my stay through Booking.com and had already paid in advance. When I arrived, I tried to explain this to Amman possibly Anu (may be a misspelling of the name) at check-in, but he insisted that payment was still due at checkout and that I hadn’t paid. After a long and exhausting trip to get there, I didn’t have the energy to argue and handed over my card as requested hoping that maybe this was just for incidentals. My guy friend and I just had one day between business trips to connect. Today, at checkout, I discovered I’d been charged twice — once through Booking.com and again directly by the property. I spoke with Allen, the on-site manager, who simply kept saying, “Yes ma’am, I’m working on refunding you,” but that’s not the point. The real concern is how this happened in the first place? Why didn’t the gentlemen at check in listen and investigate if he was unsure? Totally unnecessary escalation. My next step is to contact my bank, BBB, and whatever other channels I have to ensure that I not only get my money back but someone above Allen knows about my experience. I truly love this property and have always enjoyed staying here, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled, I won’t be returning.
We stayed here during our first trip to Franklin. The location is good - a quiet spot that was a good home base for Nashville and Franklin. The room was fine and minimal. It was clean, the bathroom and shower were good. The lighting in the room was not great - a pretty dark room. I’m not sure how many people actually work here. The front desk was empty for a majority of our stay. Our room wasn’t serviced at all during our three nights. I guess a few towels, two plastic cups, and two coffee cups/packets are supposed to last three days. Conserving towels is one thing, but we were shocked our room wasn’t never freshened up at all.
The room did not work well for me, for these reasons: - The first room’s window AC unit was noisy due to mechanical issues. I got moved to another room where it was smooth. However, the toilet in my new room had a leak and had to refill every hour of so, creating noise pollution throughout the room. - Smoke detector at night pulses a light - Lots of light pollution from the door the the hallway - Bed is firm, but pillows are not at right size to accommodate. One pillow is too narrow. Two pillows is too tall. Neck pain was the result. - Found a spider crawling in my suitcase. - The doors to the room make a loud noise when opening and closing. As a result, I could always hear someone going into their room, even down the hallway. Given the level of light and noise pollution, both of which oppose sound sleep, the design choices of this hotel seems inconsiderate of their customers’ sleep… which is the primary purpose of a hotel. On the positive side: - Nice location, in a relatively quiet area. - Shower got very hot and had strong pressure. - A nice couch and TV in the room. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
The hotel it's beautiful inside and out rooms are excellent, very clean. The pool's nice. The exercise room, nice laundry room. The place is amazing, wonderful staff. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend that this hotel.
Our stay here was very pleasant. Sheriee took very good care of us with excellent customer service. We will definitely come back here the next time we’re visiting Nashville.
A Great Stay in Franklin, Tennessee! I recently stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in Franklin, TN, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself was excellent—clean, comfortable, and welcoming—but what really made the visit special was the location. There were plenty of activities for both families and adults. A popular ice cream shop was just steps away, along with a beautiful green space where kids could run and play. I also discovered a great spot called Tony’s Place, perfect for grabbing a delicious sandwich and a cold beer.
