Beds are horrible, better off sleeping on the floor. Our backs were fine until the first night, we stayed 3 nights and can barely move now cause or backs hurt so bad. We will not be back, we will stay at another hotel nearby.

This has been the worst Marriott I have stayed in to be honest for many reasons. I travel a lot for work. A few of the following reasons: (1) The beds are incredibly small. It was very difficult to sleep with my 9 year old child. I debated renting a second room for a family of four. (2) We rented a two double bed room which indicates four people, they only gave us three towels each day. (3) There were several mixed messages about housekeeping. I selected housekeeping via the app upon check in. They did not clean our room the first day. We called that evening to ask. They said we had to ask for housekeeping, which we did. We asked for more towels since they didn’t clean our room. They only brought us two so we had to share towels amongst our family. I called the next morning to ask for housekeeping. The front desk told me that they should always clean as long as the do not disturb sign is on. (4) The worst part was the cold water at nights. We stayed because we were playing in a softball tournament, each night the water was cold and there was no hot water. All of us staying here were taking cold showers in the evening. No clue why the hot water was not working at night. (5) They never gave us waters. I travel a lot and have status. In any Marriott I stay in, they provide free waters. Not once weren’t we offered water nor was it in our rooms. Only the $5 water bottles. (6) There was a dirty film on the bathroom floor.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome ? ? ? The hotel is beautiful. It's clean. The staff are very friendly. There's plenty of parking but they do charge for parking. There is a restaurant on site but they only do buffet. It's a great location close to shopping, restaurants and the freeway. The beds were so comfortable that my husband wanted to buy some of their pillows which you can purchase on their website @ shop.marriott.com. for $85. Maybe I'll buy him ONE for father's day ?

It’s absolutely good serving and lodging 5 instead of calling 3 star hotel on Google. Grand conference rooms, above enough parking and great services for decades at beautiful Cool Springs(historic Franklin City) 15 minutes south from busy downtown Nashville. Whenever visiting here we see nice group gatherings at cafeteria and lobby.

Stayed at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs and had a great experience. The rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable. The workout room was one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used, and the indoor pool was a nice bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great location and a very relaxing place to stay in the Franklin/Cool Springs area!

I stayed for a business trip. The hotel is extremely nice and comfortable. The room was clean and the bed slept well. The only issue I had was upon check-in. The lady who checked me in was slow and rude. She was middle aged and had blonde hair. If you stay and she is working the counter avoid her line. The younger lady checked in three people before I was checked in, and I had already started checking in prior to her stepping up to help the people behind me in line. Please note that’s why I gave them a 2 for service. If they remove her from checking folks in, they’d easily receive a 5.

I stayed at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs during the Bizzard Conference 2026. Overall, the stay was decent, but there are clear areas where improvement is needed. The room itself was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, I was unable to fully enjoy either due to an overwhelming smell of fresh paint that lingered throughout the night. The odor was strong enough to be nauseating and made for a restless stay. Another major drawback was the persistent nickel-and-diming. Charging $5 for a bottle of room water and offering WiFi only at $9.95 or $14.95 per day feels excessive, especially given the nightly room rate. WiFi should be a basic inclusion at this price point. The cumulative effect of charging for nearly everything comes across as greedy and inhospitable. That said, the overall look and feel of the hotel is nice. The renovations, while inconvenient during the stay, appear to be moving the property toward a more modern and chic aesthetic, which is appreciated. With better attention to guest comfort during renovations and a more reasonable approach to amenities, this could be a stronger experience. As it stands, it was acceptable, but not particularly welcoming.

[July 2025] I stayed at this hotel during my Nashville stay and was immediately blown away by the smokey mountain painting on my bedroom wall. Despite being tucked away in an offshoot city near Nashville, I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxing my stay was. I stayed alone and felt safe. I also got to swim and play in the pool mostly by myself until a bunch of moody teenagers came down.

Room was nice and clean. The guy that checked us in was not very friendly. We stayed after attending a Christmas party there. The drinks were a bit pricey. You could hear everything going on in the hallway while in the room.

Great customer service at the Front desk. On 2 seperate occasions, we received free gifts because of minor inconveniences we encountered. It's not expected, but it's a blessing. Parking is free here, which is a big plus. Hotel is overall very cozy! The fridges actually have temperature nobs, which not every hotel has these days.
