The Hyatt Place Nashville/Franklin/Cool Springs offers a convenient location near the Cool Springs Mall and offers competitive rates. Recent reviews highlight both positive experiences, such as friendly staff and clean rooms, and concerns regarding outdated facilities, cleanliness issues, and occasional staffing shortages. Despite some dated aspects, the hotel provides a comfortable and functional base for exploring the area.
First things first Michael was a huge help getting a room for extended stay due to the Ice storm. Helpful and kind through the whole process and put us a little more at ease with all we’ve been going through! So huge thank you to him! The only employee I cared to go to for help. Not as much the others. This hotel needs a microwave in the breakfast area…. First hotel I’ve been to that doesn’t have one that was annoying. A hotel that has a weird sleep therapy section but no microwave lol
January 2026 Middle TN Ice Storm. Our apartment complex lost power for 4+ days with no power. A friend found a room here on HotelsTonight the first day of the outage. She asked the front desk to reserve us a room and they did. Each day when we found out we still had no power, they extended our stay. All this at a very reasonable rate. They told us there was no cancellation policy if we regained power, but we didn't get to find out. The room was a mini-suite with seperate sitting area. The bed was comfy. The Internet was fine, albeit a little slow. It had a large TV with good channel selection (we are TV people). Dogs are allowed. The location is excellent in the Cool Springs Mall area with lots of shopping and restaurants. It was nice to be able to get our steps in walking inside the mall. This place was like a warm, welcoming island in the midst of cold chaos. Thank you!
Hotel is old and getting dated with little to no upkeep. Smells of musty mildew, hvac yo-yos from one extreme to the other, staff is non-helpful to rude, coffee pots make coffee taste like soured water, and the breakfast is reused from day to day (moldy fruit). Would not recommend this Hyatt.
Really nice. Staff was friendly. Hotel and room were clean and quiet. I appreciate it being pet friendly. I was there for the Vanderbilt sleep study and my family stayed in a room upstairs. The fruit compote and yogurt I had for breakfast was really good. I would stay again if I had to.
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while attending a business meeting nearby. The location is convenient with closeby amenities such as grocery, dining, and entertainment. The hotel appears older but has had some updates. The room and common areas were clean and everything in the room worked as it should. On multiple occassions there was no attendant at the front desk; on one occassion I saw a 10+ minute period of no attendant and a guest who couldn't check in because of this. The fitness center is small and has a Peloton bike, 2 treadmills, an eliptical, a full set of dumbbells, and a weight bench. Of note, the fitness center didn't have any yoga mats for floor-based weights or core. There was a half used water bottle on a treadmill on day 1 that was still there on day 2. Overall, I would stay here again. The desk being unattended at times was a bit concerning.
This is our first time staying at a Hyatt brand hotel. My husband and I are absolutely in awe at this beautifully quaint place! Our king sofa room is darling and everything is clean and smells wonderful. Michael, our supervisor concierge, is so professional and welcoming. He explained everything about the hotel that we needed to know professionally and in detail. We were welcomed as Hyatt members and offered our waters without asking as well. We will definitely be staying here when we are in the area again! We are absolutely in love with the area and this hotel. ? Add on from the next day after our stay: the breakfast is fresh, full of fresh food options, and has a wonderful selection of healthy items. I also started out my morning in the beautiful sitting area to enjoy my Tazo tea provided by the hotel breakfast bar. ? The area was clean, volume well controlled, and multiple staff members were present to assist with my questions.
We chose to stay at the Hyatt Place for a family gathering and it proved to be a great gathering place. My wife and I ran into a problem on the trip down when Alaska Airlines grounded their flights nationwide due to an IT problem. The staff (especially Michael) were very helpful and understanding to us abd worked to make appropriate changes to our reservations. Booking.com had terrible problems reimbursing us (despite the hotel staff acting immediately) for the lost days, but the manager (Parth Patel) endured multiple phone calls and even personal visits to get the issue resolved. I highly recommend Hyat Place Cool Springs! Thank-you all for making it a good visit for us all
Pretty nice hotel, rooms were spacious and had nice amenities. Nice bathroom, bed was super comfy and soft. There's a huge TV in the room but its not a smart TV which kinda sucks. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Free breakfast was provided, not bad at all. Lobby is kinda small. Hotel is near other stores so location is pretty good. Parking lot is kinda small and navigating to the hotel is kinda hard bc its hidden
The room was nice. Sofa killed my back sitting on it, beds were good, don't wash cloths there you need to use an app that won't let you put money to wash cloths. Everything there you have to use credit card, not cash. The guy at the front counter was nice at first, then he started being a perk. All in all it was okay for one night.
Do not stay here it’s very dirty and a not safe location, Was in two different rooms at this hotel both were disgusting, damp, one of the beds left dirty and sheets not ever washed or changed, Shared my concerns with the front desk and the management at checkout within an hour of checking in was told I was going to be refunded. Later found out they denied the refund and are still charging me for a room. I was only in the hotel for less than an hour total including changing rooms twice and being locked outback. The front desk manager also asked my fiancé when she was at the desk by herself if she was traveling alone, which is very shady and made her feel very uncomfortable with two other male employees standing close by. I spent several hours with the company and management trying to get my refund explaining the situation and how scary it was. we were first given our keys and on the backside of the building our keys wouldn’t let us in and not properly programmed. It was 2 AM standing outside of the back of the hotel very dark by herself. Had to go back to the front desk had the new keys made then went to our first room. it was very damp and wet feeling and had a very bad smell. The second room we were given keys to are in the photos that we decided we were no longer going to stay at the hotel and. Pulled the covers back ready to crawl into bed at almost 2:30 in the morning and realized there was hairs all over the bed and the sheets and the bedding had not been changed DONT STAY at the FILTHY HOTEL ? ?
